James McAvoy and Mackenzie Davis share the elements of their characters that they found most intriguing and complement each other while discussing their different approaches to the craft
Scenario
A family is invited to spend an entire weekend in a remote house in the countryside, but as the weekend progresses, they realize that there is a dark side lurking within the family that invited them. The story is inspired by the experiences of Christian Tafdrup, director of the original Danish film Speak No Evil (2022), who befriended a Dutch couple while on holiday in Tuscany with his wife. Although the Dutch were a little socially awkward, the two couples got on very well, and after returning home, Tafdrup received an invitation from the Dutch family to come to the Netherlands.
Ben Dalton: Why are you doing this to us?
He briefly considered it, but decided that he would feel uncomfortable staying with people he didn’t really know; his story for the film came about when he unleashed his darkest fantasies about what might have happened if he had accepted (while claiming that the original Dutch couple never gave off bad vibes). In this remake, the nationalities of the two families have been changed to American and British. In the bathroom, while washing his eye, he has a subconjunctival haemorrhage in his left eye, in his next scene his eyes are perfectly clear.

If you’re really giving this a 1 star, you’re not taking the reviews seriously, and you’re just a hater
The movie kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie, it’s not your typical thriller to begin with, and the suspense was really well-built, and kept me interested at all times. Unfortunately, the characters in the movie do a lot of illogical things that will have you banging your head. But I was really surprised, and I think it surpasses the original in every aspect, both cinematically and acting-wise.

McAvoy’s phenomenal portrayal of a creepy psychopath is eerie, and it makes you want to hide in your seat. McAvoy simply outshines everyone else in this movie. The final season of “What We Do in the Shadows” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
