Faisal is a seasoned investment strategist with over 25 years of expertise in developing, advising, and managing long-term investment plans. Before joining Paradigm, he led Wealth and Asset Management at both 1Oak Capital and Umbra Capital. His extensive career includes over a decade at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, where he advised high-profile clients across EMEA on complex financing and investment needs. With deep experience in corporate advisory, Faisal holds both the CFA and CAIA designations, underscoring his commitment to excellence and industry-leading insight in financial management.
Okenna brings over 15 years of financial management experience across Africa, previously serving as Director for Africa at Barclays Bank. With a strong network among major families and entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa, he has deep insights into local financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and cultural dynamics. His background includes UHNW Africa client coverage at UBS Switzerland and Goldman Sachs. Okenna holds an MBA from London Business School.
Seasoned investor and pioneer of private equity with over 25 years of investing and fund management in Africa. A YPO member with non-executive director and chairman experience. Have demonstrated track record since 1995 through direct investing, portfolio and fund management, investment committee membership, board member and holding leadership positions to build asset management platform over investment cycle of several funds. Sandeep has been instrumental and keyman for over US$1.5bn raised over the last 15 years and establishing businesses in new markets. He understands the African marketplace as well as holding an understanding of the opportunity and challenges for privately-held and family-owned organisations. Sandeep was also a founding member of Aureos Capital, an asset management firm with US$2bn of AUM which was exited in 2012 to Abraaj, where he led the operations and investments in Southern Africa and as Africa IC member until 2016. Sandeep started his career with CDC Group plc and Zambia Venture Capital Fund in early 1990’s focussing on agri-businesses and venture capital in Zambia.
Awarded a CBE in the 2005 Queen’s Honours List for services to international development, Iqbal is an internationally recognized expert in Development and Islamic Finance. He previously served as an Investment Analyst at Prudential Assurance and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
Ahmad is a seasoned financial advisor to companies, families, and banks, with experience in landmark transactions such as the purchase and sale of Aston Martin, where he served on the board. A founding director of the West’s first regulated Islamic Bank, he collaborated with the FCA to establish guidelines for Islamic banking in the UK. He has co-founded two boutique investment banks in London and led high-profile deals, including the sale of a majority stake in Soho House, the acquisition of a luxury perfume brand, and the take-private of an AIM-listed company.
Nash specialises in real estate transactions and funds. Prior to Paradigm, Nash co-founded Leadenhall Partners and previously worked at PWC and E&Y, where he accumulated considerable experience closing real estate funds, tax planning, and transaction advisor He advises several real estate funds undertaking significant projects in central London, particularly evaluating options/opportunities, structuring, due diligence, corporate governance, investor reporting and the financial aspects of the developments and investments. Nash is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.
Toyin is a real estate adviser to Paradigm . Toyin assists HNWIs and family offices with their UK property investment requirements and oversees development projects. Toyin is qualified legal professional who has represented Landlords, Banks, and Housing Associations on a wide range of litigation matters. She has previously consulted for Asset Management Companies, and Property Investment companies.
